Does the clock on my 97 have a light bulb that can be replaced?  The clock is working but I can't read it at night. Above is a photo of the rear of the clock. Is that a bulb in the hole in the upper right?  If so, how do I remove it? And can I find a replacement in an auto parts store?

Here is a shot of the slot.

Here is one of the bulb.  The bulb is removed by turning 90 degrees and pulling.

The bulb is a Toshiba V-2 with a brown base.  Not available at Advance, NAPA or VW.  Calling local Triumph Dealer tomorrow.  A lot of work for a lighted clock.

Turns out the bulb and base are two separate pieces.  Here is the bulb.

Suspect Honda and Toyota use these.

Found more info on Mazda site.  The socket is type Toshiba V-2.  The bulb may be type 74 or 2721.  Writer said these bulbs are available at Auto Zone.

The correct bulb is the Osram Sylvania 2721.  Found at Advance Auto. Here is the pic.
