Condensation in Steamer Clock

Thanks in advance to anyone who has advice as to what I should do about the condensation that formed inside the clock face on my 'new' 1998 Steamer the first time I washed it.



Am not sure if I should take the instrument apart and dry it, etc.



I live in Central Florida where the humidity is high, so liklihood of evaporation is lower than it would be in a more dry climate.



I covered the clock and instrument cluster with a plastic bag, but this obviously did not prevent me from getting water inside the clock.



I will tape it up with masking tape for future washings.
