Who has changed a Tiger tire on the trail.I have an 01 Girly that I'm in the process of putting tkcs on front and rear.Don't have a center stand on yet,but there are several ways to prop up a bike.I have changed them on the klr on the trail and here at the house.Looks like the Tiger would be a handful. The 01s are tubed  That in itself makes it a job.Anybody got any good tips for the trail?

On our Kamiah Tiger ride in I took a spare tire with me, because my knobbies were pretty worn and I was afraid the rear tire won't make it home. I changed it at the campground. I just used a center stand and 2 tire irons. After i was done Sasquatch donated to me a beadbraker from Happy Trails (very nice), but it can be done without if you don't have one.

Looks like a spare tyre make a good, lidless, topbox.

More information needed:  Front and rear? or just rear?  Sizes available? Model? (the url on the tag is in czech which I cant read.)

I like only the rear tire. Front didn't last as long as TKC. You can change the language to English in the up right corner. I use E-09 enduro type tire.

I bought mine from Northstar Motosport. Great to deal with. Two rear tires for $212.26 shipped. 8)

How are they on pavement?  vs. TKCs?

EDIT:  Hey Stretch, lets put together a tire guide sticky post.  List all the tires available in our sizes on a line from pure dirt to pure street.

Okay.

I'm at the fire station today, though.  I'll work on a contribution tomorrow afternoon.

Check out these videos.  This guy will make you feel practically inept as he charges through a tire change.

Nice video, except mine rear tire doesn't  come off that easy.

It was probably a warm day and the wheel had spent some time in the sun.  Athough, the commentary was definitely unrehearsed.
