I was looking at an 07 tiger the other day and while not actually being offered a test ride as I would have liked, it set me thinking.

With the discontinued 06 back (read real) Tigers being no longer available and the 06 engine so close to the same as the 1050:

How easy would it be to fit a 1050 engine into an 06 Tiger?

Has anyone actually done this or even thought about it?

Is it a real option?  Cheers (curious) John.

Well as someone who's not even interested in the cast wheel 05/06 never mind the plain daft pillon seat height of the 07,i've had a serious look at the 1050 motor, aside from a wireing loom transplant, the main problem i see is what shape the airbox is,as it has Jap fuel injection and bugger all like the Sagem,so until i've seen an 07 with the tank off,it's the 60 million dollar question.
Haveing recently had dealings with a 1050 speed triple  crisp or what!!
