Hi,

( Previously on Injected Steamer )
I installed
'99 Daytona 955i Throttle bodies
'03 Sprint inteke Manifold rubbers
'02 Sprint ST 955i Air temp sensor
'00 Daytona Map sensor
a wideband lambda sensor
an inline fuel pump
and a hommade injection control unit to my '98 steamer. run tests for 6
months.

Now ( after 7 months more ), we have completed 5100 miles. I will upload
photos soon. Run -4 C to 43 C, from sea level to 1983 mt., in 4 seasons.
Here are the results :
Fuel consumption : in city 5,3 lt/100 km ( 44mpg ) , highway 4,9 lt/100
km ( 48mpg ), aggressive use 6,5 lt/100 km ( 36 mpg ) (US gal)
Power: 91 ps , 94 Nm

How it feels is more important and more fun. Much more easy to fire up.
the hesitation below 3000 rpm is totally gone. he is working way much
steady. interestingly, mechanical noise, especially on idle is almost
half of before. i thought it was making it up but compared to a standart
steamer side by side, it is true. i did not feel the power increase much
but torque felt clearly itself.

Futue plans ?
Trying to find a speed triple cams ( 98 ps version )
Finished a simple road computer , will install instead of clock
Run more than 5100 miles in this summer

It is definitely 1 of a kind and neat and all , but I have to ask why ? if the performance is almost  identical to a carb'd steamer ?
The dead spot in the mid range of keihin carbs can be fixed much easier than this by simply jetting the carb correctly .
And the fuel mileage is no different than a carbed steamer .

I could understand the expense if you gained 15 or 20 HP or increased fuel mileage dramatically , but I don't see that .

Dr. Mordo

That is very cool, and thanks for all the pics!  I am amazed.

Where in Turkey do you live ?

When I was in high school many years ago we lived in IZMIR for two years (father was US AirForce), it was an experience I will never forget . It was some of the best times and experiences .
