I bought my Tiger last July and before I got it the previous owner removed a scotoiler from it as there was the tube fixings left on the frame which gave away that one had been fitted.

I had the tank of the bike yesterday to check the plugs and air filter and to my horror found that the scotoiler connection to the vacum hose was still in place. He had just cut the hose near the swinging arm and left it unsealed. No wonder my tick over has been erratic. I have now removed the air tube and  sealed of the connection and the bike is running perfect.

The best part is I had the tank off last year and did not notice this. I should have gone to specsavers lol
