Been riding my tiger daily for the past few months and she's been behaving herself. One thing that seemed to bug me was it didn't seem to like to pull off cleanly.
Decided to rip the undermounted silencer and stock can and make something up. To my astonishment, both clamps undid and all the pipes slid apart. I had a damaged set of 955 tiger downpipes to play with.
I cut the 'S' bend off the 955 pipe just behind where all the pipes collect together.
I cut the 'in' pipe off the original undermounted silencer and trimmed it and the 'S' bend down a little bit so it all lined up. Witness marked it and then took it in the workshop and tig welded it up.
I then cut the front section off the stock can and found the insides were all loose. So grabbed a spare reverse cone silencer off my shelf. Trimmed it down, tig welded it up to the original can pipe and made the brackets to suspend it.
Took it out for a spin and it's a whole different machine. Doesn't take much of a flick of the throttle now to spin the engine up. Will mount up the gopro and get some sound tracks.

I'm not quite sure on the hanging bracket at the moment so may remake that unless i change the exhaust again. :augie
