Just up the road from the barracks I was visiting today, been up this road god knows how many times, but never gone to the end of the road.
This was the site of the Original Beachley to Aust ferry before the severn crossing opened in 1966

A nice sunny day! Nothing better to appreciate splendid architectural engineering than a sunny day and a pint o' the good stuff.
