Yesterday, at 1.45pm, I listed the XR650L on the local free online classified sites. It usually takes a little time for the site moderators to 'approve' your ad. Within an hour I was getting texts, and long story short, by 4.30pm the bike was gone, at my asking price!
It is being replaced by my next project, an early '80s XL250 which I have 'known' for 9 years and always had first refusal on.
people like those old xr's they are not as high strung and maint hungry as the crf's
I just found out that there were 90 hits on one site and 38 on the other in the short time it was listed!
