Jeez!

That,s the sort of styling imagination the guys at Hinckley need!

If that Tiger was in the shops today, I,d have another one!........

Yea, it is pretty cool, but I'd rather have a stock 05 model for everyday.

Blimey...someone left a Sprint ST and a Tigger in a dark room together. And painted the love-child orange.

While I have to agree with you regarding the wheels on this bike, the tenor of your post shows an utter lack of imagination. If you don't have the vision and the balls to change your bike to fit your needs you might as well be in a cage...

I have to say I agree with most of what Madmax says. The bike is a wacky and weird hybrid of two excellent bikes. That's all.

Vision? Balls? yes...I've got those. But I don't see anything in the photos that I'd "need".

speaking of imagination, I imagine I can make a sprocket cover gasket that might not leak. I seem to be making changing the chain and sprockets into a week long clusterfuck. Didn't plan this out, been running to town every five minutes for bits I forgat I needed. I spose I had better get back out in the garage and finish putting my bike back together and leave off giving the Limeys a hard time :D

yeah, I hear you. In my case, I think the Tiger is a better package than the GS, but it doesn't quite do what I need it to do. The Steamer is really close, but has some design issues. The EFI deals with those design issues but has moved towards being a more street oriented bike, not as tough off road as the Steamer was. If I replace my Tiger with a new generation Tiger I will need to do some major changes to make it capable of doing what I need it to do. As much as I hate to say it, I will probably follow your logic to its extreme conclusion and get a KTM. But not just yet...

If you like your bike bone stock off the shelf, more power to you. I tend to get too involved with my machines and twist them into something that is all mine. That's the way I like it. That is what I admire when I look at another persons bike. Bone stock seems like a blank page waiting to be written upon. Bolt on catalog modifications seem like Hall Mark greeting cards-sometimes kinda cute, but lacking depth. I like bikes that were built by the rider, preferably using pieces from other machines, not necessarily even other motobikes. Just my perversion of the aesthetic, yours may( and should) vary :)

oooh, you b'stards...

Posting this link, just as I had decided to leave my steamer a bog stock...

Now I'm thinking, could that rear fork be made to fit the steamer? And where could I find a matching front rim? And how much HP could I get from my 885 cc?

Thanks a lot you guys! You'll have to answer to the mrs...

Sorry for the obvious gaffs, it has its limitations

And this is beautiful!!  Watched a P? what has succeeded to give birth that mind alternative of Carl Thalamus!  One Touring Sport (much more sport that touring..) truly from sballo.  We hope that those of the Triumph listen to it and they watch it.  From Motorcycling:  Carl Thalamus, the Italian importer of Triumph English, has realized this interesting prototype.  It is not a provocazione but, he has the precise attempt to arrive to the "good ones intenditor", that is the parent company (than in fact he has financed the experiment).  Of the rest already he has happened, the baby speed testifies it.  In the comparisons of the Triumph the Thalamus role is changing.  It is not limited to more and more often sell their motion but ago from "adviser".  To create this Tiger then Sport, has been a lot amusing because the designer of the original model is a great fan of motion and the agreement with Thalamus is total.  The maxienduro they are a phenomenon been born in the desert of Paris-Dakar and today arrived on the freeways to the cruise speed of the sedans of lusso.  Their role therefore is changed, sure stradalizzato, is more and more close to the granturismo.  Carl, like personal motion, has one Tiger 95'.  He uses every day for varies reasons to you:  he is fast, it is comfortable, he does not become orrenda with the trunk and in city he has beam of steering and excursion of the suspensions adapted to wriggle in the traffic and to survive to holes, tombini, tracks and pavĀ».  But something lacks them, perhaps a little badness.  Here because in the Thalamus mind the thought is been born to take part heavy on aesthetic and mechanical.  Indugiamo beyond and we do not see as it is made.  The tank is that one originates them, the posterior beacon is of the previous model of the Speed Triple while of Speed puts into effect them is handle-bar, commandos, instruments and brakes.  The posterior wheel comes from sprint the ST, with the relative monoarm and suspension res-adapt you to the scope.  The front wheel, to beams, is from 18 inches and has been realized ad hoc for the Tiger Sport.  The cupolino, all the cupolino, he is transparent, in order to offer greater visual the possible one in the sport guide and city.  The thing entusiasmante than this plan is but the motor.  Draft of the three cylinders from 149 CV that the Daytona equips!  The maximum speed of 250 kmh will be autolimitata.  Between the created particularitities purposely for this prototype there is the group saddleback-travelling case that is opened laterally, the large noise suppressor shot towards the high, cupolino and the fianchetti.  The possibilities to see it in production in a near future are tutt' other that remote, a lot depends on the other large innovationes that bubble in pot to Hinckley.  Assumed, comprised price between that one of the Speed Triple and the Daytona
