Title: Sore Wrist
Post by: HappyMan on July 07, 2008, 04:44:25 AM
TOWMBO doesn't get out much on the bike because of our horde of children, work and a general busy lifestyle.  She's gotten out a couple of times this season and both times found herself in quite a bit of pain after a few clutch pulls.  Enough to make it quite difficult to ride.    My first thought was tendentious but she doesn't have any problems doing anything else and this seems too quick to be that.  The pain is between her thumb and forefinger.

I'll take opinions if ya got 'em.  Also, any ideas on what I could do to help get her an easier clutch pull? (No Honda Matic sugestions here.) Smaller hands mean she has to reach further.  She rides the DR650.  Hope to get her on the Tiger this season but this is holding her up.

Adjustable levers?

Or teach her to shift sans clutch.  It ain't that hard.

The Steamer had me in pain for a few weeks this year until I did some more riding, now I don't even notice holding the clutch in at LOOOOOOng lights. 8)

Maybe one of those grip squeezer thingies? :D

I was actually thinking about both.  Adjustable levers and teaching her to shift clutch-less she could definitely learn but since she gets out so seldom the chance to learn something new is tough.

Then it's grip squeezers for her.  And an unrealized bonus for you, Happy Man!
