Well, after months of messing around... my beloved 2005 Tiger that was hit back in August when a Volvo turned right from the middle lane... is looking to be totaled. Even though she came home once, various electrical problems follwed & now the guys insurance company is about done paying repair bills. The bike starts & runs, but in the cold weather she starts, stalls, broken idle... mess... my Dealer thinks its the computer, but at $1700 for a new computer.. the insurance company may just total the bike.. I am wicked sad but life goes on.

I am looking at finding a left over 06 (maybe)

But has anyone put any aftermarket luggage on a 2007 model just yet??? I truly hate the new Triumph bags, my friend has them on his Sprint & they suck. That exhaust sticks out there quite a bit, I wanted to see if anyone has had any luck mounting aftermarket cases.. givi, hepc becker, touratech.. ect???

Photos.. this is a major factor, as passenger comfort & luggage are big decision makers for me. I am also looking at other bikes, hate to leave Triumph, but I need something really functional. Everything about the new Tiger is smaller than my 2005... need to see if things can be made to work?

Thanks so much everyone!!!!!!

I think the 07 would make a great bike but if you are looking for an 06 I found quite a few of them and at some pretty good prices. Good luck. I'd love to see some pictures of the 07 with after market luggage.

With the rate that the 07 is flying out of the show rooms in Yuurp it won't be long before all the yuurpeans like Givi & Hepco etc have a kit out.

Man, I love the look of this, does not look like much room for a Passenger tho? I would love to see a dead on shot from the rear with any type of luggage, just to see how far out that exhaust pushes it on the right hand side???

There's a solid-looking 05 on eBay.

Here

I was watching this one but the bags were pretty beat up and it looked like the disc was rusty. I figured I'd put new bags on it but the price would need to be reduced by a fair amount to interest me.

You may want to look into the Hepco & Becker Jr Flash bags and H & B detachable rack. Left bag is a 40L and right is 30L.

I am about to put SW Motech EVO racks on mine modified to be equidistant to take my Trax boxes.

I have already changed my end can to a Zard to get the necessary clearance, quite a few have already done this mod.

If I was going to put aftermarket bags on the 07+ bikes, I'd move the exhaust out of the way first.

The H&Bs compliment the lines of the bike well. Kind of a retro thing going on there.
Redbird - What was your source for that setup?
