Well ...all I can tell ya is my 06' manual also sez 4qts for oil / filter change. But its about 750 ml too much according to dip stick. As someone surmised - I think dipstick length changed on newer models.

when the factory sets those amounts they assume you will get every last drop out of the case. Which never happens. Lot of places for a little oil hang up when you drain it. As others have mentioned, stop a little short and fill the last bit little by little.
