I just did my 2 year 'spring cleaning' on 06 Tiger.
Went thru just about everything ....

a couple of notes:

1. When I replaced the spark plugs I noticed all 3 locking straps
on the plug igniters were loose ( unsnapped ). I could push each
connector in a smidgen. So when I replaced the Iridium plugs with std
NGK and connected  the igniters I put a small plastic zip-tie on each
connector to hold it in place.  ( NOTE: When I got the bike back
together the motor was much more responsive and ran smoother. Was
it the plugs or the igniter connectors .... )

2. I did stretch a 'pantyhose' nylon over the air snorkle to keep debris out.
Probably should have used metal screen mesh..... zip-tied it.

3. The new Anakee 2 radial tires are really nice. I had always run bias-belt
tires ... there is a difference. Softer ride.  I'll have the whole story when it's time to replace them.
