When working on diesels years ago, one of the jobs we used to carry out as a matter of course was injector refurb.
This job included things like checking the angle of spray/atomisation, pintle condition, spring rate and servicing to bring to origin spec.
The Tiger injectors being of the electromechanical type, I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to get these serviced?

Although these are not on the service list it is just a nice to know if anyone has had any success.

Not heard of it, but did have the same sort of wondering as you. We used to have an injector test rig when I worked at RAF Cosford just as you mentioned.  I would imagine the injectors are an off-the-shelf product and would not be surprised to find that the sourcing thereof is linked in some way to the Sagem ECU since they have to work well together.

Hang on though, they bloody well don't though do they?
