Centre Stand Compatibility

Does anybody know if a 2001 995i has a compatible center stands?
I don't mind doing a few modifications and extending it a bit as long as i can just bolt it on and it sits up in the correct mounting points on the bike.
I've done the usual ebay searches and don't have £150 to spend on one.

Any help is appreciated.

All the 855/955 EFI Tigers are compatable, try contacting a breaker as there have been a few parted out now.

Are you sure.  There is some definate conflicting information.  I've been told that the 885i and 955i need different centerstands.

As dim and distant memory serves me it was the length that was different, all the fitments are the same to the frame, they are even different between the 955 models.

Stand on my 2001 955 came off my 885i,as for price blimey I've seen new'uns down as low as £45 World of Triumph and also ebay,which made me smile I paid £75 for mine secondhand 13 years ago.

Have tried a couple of sites for this kit only to be told it is no longer available £42 would have been a bargain.

I have been looking at a 995i Sprint stand on ebay for £23 as it looked similar and i don't mind doing some fettling with it, just didn't know if it mounts in the same place.

So has anybody actually fitted a 955i centerstand to a 885i and did it work?  Specifically a SW Motech like this one
