IACV position?

I've got a 2001 955. Anyone know what position the little white "plunger" in the IACV should be in? I unbolted the assembly to clean and lube with silicone, but I'm not sure if the plunger should pretty much be all the way up after reassembly. THANKS...

It's a while since I looked at mine but at the top (at rest) sounds about right as that's where it would block the bleed pipes.
