Hi there, I'm new here. I'm from the Netherlands and last week I bought a 885i from 2000 with only 25500 km on it.

Yesterday I changed the coolant and now the engine light is staying on. I did the 3 times starting reset but it doesn't help.
Does anyone have some suggestions what it might be.

Get it plugged into TuneECU on a laptop to get the error codes - if not serious, can be wiped and forgotten about :)

It's not three starts, it's three heat cycles. Start from cold run it til warm, fan cuts in and then shut it off. That three times shuts off the light if and only if the fault has gone!

Thanks for the reply's. There was to much air in the system. The light is off.
