Have I bought a Massey Ferguson??

Hi Everyone,
Just bought my first Triumph today and I wondered if they all sound like tractors.
Its a 2000 model Tiger 885 with 20,000 miles on it but the engine seems to make an awful noise on tickover.(in comparison to the cbf600 I have been riding.)
There also seems to be a knocking noise coming from the clutch. Is this normal for these bikes. I heard they were over engineered and basically bulletproof.
Apart from that its a joy to ride .

they all sound like that . .....you should hear 40 of them all together running at once . Sounds like a diesel truck convention.
