Does anyone have the exact measurements of the length of the stock rear shock on a 97 Steamer?  I found a new ohlins and am wondering if it'll fit.
My bike isn't here yet so I can't measure mine.  :icon_rolleyes:

Is that measured from the center of the eye Ned?

The Ohlins I found is  13 3/4" eye to eye.

Thanks for checking!

i've put an aftermarket MOOSE (about $35) seal head in mine.  new oil, repressurize (i used air at 150 psi), good to go.
filing the end of the shaft to not destroy the retaining nut was the hardest part.
