headlight low beam?

So here's a stupid question.  Could have thought my 885i had both headlights on when on low beam but my new bike only has the one side on so how should it be.  If only one side anybody convert to both being on?   Maybe I'm just loosing it or one of my blood clots has gone to my head.

USA MODEL BIKES have both low beams on , high beams are the same .
sure you don't have a bulb out or a dodgy connection ?

Didn't pull it as I wasn't sure I was remembering correctly.Thanks for the confirmation.

Yep pulled it and replaced both since the PO replaced one with a blue tinted bulb, and left the other in there (which was now dead)  Seems he also ripped the rubber boot which I glued for now, will order when I have an order to place.  Should have saved the boots from the 855i, didn't think they'd ever need replaced but I guess rubber bits aren't what they used to be.
