He called me this evening, Bike's a writeoff (Aprillia). He has to go into hospital to have surgery on his elbow tomorrow. Apparently he was riding along, when a guy in a Jag just opened his car door and he hit it dead on...he was then thrown into the road chin first and I think an oncoming car hit him in the shoulder.....



I'm just really happy he made it through ok.

At least the driver admitted to the police on scene that it was his fault.
