Hi all,

I'm finally getting round to order a rear tyre for my 3 spoke conversion and it looks like the rear wheel I have is the same part number for the Sprint & Daytona/Speed Triple yet they have different size rear tyres.

So the ? is - 170/60 or 180/55

Any thoughts fellas, is fatter better?

Wheel is marked 17xMT5.50

either one works fine , with no discernible difference . :nod

I have even run a 190x17-50 Dunlop with no difference in ride .  :icon_mrgreen:

What are you putting on the front?
I used to have long hair, took acid and went to hip joints. Now I long for hair, take antacid and need a new hip joint

Got a 180/55 on mine, handles just fine.

Most bikes with that config seem to run 120/70 and 180/55 as a pair.
