owner's manual for my '04 Girly says Mobil 1 Racing 4T fully synthetic 15W40  API/JASO bleah bleah

15W40 doesn't seem to exist, at least not in my part of the world...

any insight?

I just filled with 5-40 Shell Rotella T6 available at walmart. Its one of the few synthetics without additives and are safe for motorcycle wet clutch's. Its widely used in the motorcycle community.

mobil 1 4t racing synthetic is 10w40 now ..............
and the mobil 1 for milwaukee vibrators (H-D)is 20w50 . I like the 20w50 for summertime

Does the 20weight help with shifting being a thicker oil? :) I'll gladly change over if thats the case..
