In july we had the fantastic grand prix on the road circuit of Chimay, but this is another one of those wonderful Belgian 'road circuits' on the edge of the Ardennes. It consists of a series of both quick and slow corners with a good bit of altitude variation.  :thumbsup

Unfortunately this one is to late, but I like the poster!  Anyway, it's always around july 20th.

Should we worry about you  :augie

It is a good poster, had no idea there were so many events in Belgium, guess they get overshadowed by the bigger ones.

to late to post, but .... I was there  :hat10

And there is also early July at Francorchamps "Biker's Classic".
But honestly, I prefer the road circuits of Gedinne and Chimay! they fly right in front of your nose  :thumbsup

I love seeing photos of bike racing with actual people in them, makes it seems more real somehow.

Went to Gedinne yesterday, in beautiful weather! A joy to be there.

Unfortunately there was a low point in the afternoon, after a Laverda sidecar went into a skid right 10 meter in front of us  :bug_eye
5 minutes before, my wife said... we better should get back a few meters, because we stood rather close.
Fortunately there was sort of a dry moat, so the sidecar went immediately upside down. Otherwise it might have come directly in our direction  :icon_eek:
The lady seemed to be fairly ok, but the pilot ...  :nono  The medical urgency team worked half an our before they leaved in the ambulance!
To see a sliding in the MotoGP on television seems to be nothing in comparison with this experience right in front of your nose. And a bit distressed we went home  :icon_confused:

That's racing, hope the rider recovers to ride again as it's people of that calibre that keep the sport alive for people like us.  :notworthy

Our RAF crowd are racing there this weekend; I missed out due to other commitments.  I'll get to know how they did tomorrow hopefully.
