Having replaced the fuel line connector into the tank.....it would appear I have been a tad heavy handed and nipped the  rubber (?) seal on the metal fitting that goes into the fitting....so still have leaks... :icon_redface:

where can I get the seals in the uk????? ?....

Cheers

Viton seals ordered today.....

Thought I had got a seal that fitted from a local hydraulic specialist.....fitted ok on the metal connector....seemed a nice tight fit to the tank connector....till I turned the key and started the bike.....and fuel pissed out again!...so the easy fix wasnt!!......worth the 20p to try though!

Seals arrived...put on and all nicely sealed....well so I thought..
I saw a thin squirt of fuel come out from the edgs of the fitting so either I havent put it in far enough....or Ive knackered the thread somehow....
SO..after taking the connectoe apart and removing  it without taking the cank off  appears the sealant that was on it had dissolved and was non existant...and the connector came out with ease..I wrapped the thread with some ptfe tape... put back in and no leaks so happy day..
Lesson learned...do more research before tackling the job!!
Thanks for the advice chaps and the links.
