After a scant 87K miles my tiger finally decided to shed a part...

My sheetmetal shop knocked out a new part with better materials and processes in 4 HOURS!!!

Just need to grab some grommets and then I'm back in business for the venerable Tiger.

Nice work!  My stock guard broke in that same place at about 23k miles..   Couldn't come up with a way to fix it though so I bought a new one. Hope this one lasts longer.

My 99 had a crack in it, and my 06 has a bite out of it.  Figure I'll  make my own out of sheet metal at some point.
