Came across this recently. Not much detail yet but it's on July 26th.
This was posted on his Facebook page:-
Adventure Bike Ride - Sunday 26th July.
Discounted entrance to Museum for those arriving on adventure bikes.
Tea Rooms and our craft and gift shops will be open. This is just a Ride In but further information will be available in the next few weeks. Hope to see you then and please pass the word on to fellow riders.

It's a great museum and Sam is a lovely chap although not when you're competing (I use the term advisedly) against him.

It's been on my list of places to visit for a long time, narrowly missed it getting there too late one day and couldn't hang around, got to do it soon  :icon_rolleyes:
I used to have long hair, took acid and went to hip joints. Now I long for hair, take antacid and need a new hip joint

The two wheel drive Maico he has there is a feat of engineering.

Never even knew this existed and it's not far from home either! I feel a spring visit coming on.
Is it really an adventure bike if its wheels never see dirt?

I'd have a check on the opening times before you go as I think it is only open weekends in the off season.

Blacktiger - I may well do that too!

Fraserdog - I have decided I am a fair weather motorcyclist so don't worry, it has to be 10+ degrees C warmer at least before I get back out there.  They'll be open long before I'm man enough to go outside on the bike!  :icon_redface:
