.... or MT-09, depending on where it will be sold. Taking into account the observation one of you made that ALL bikes are adventure bikes (but not all riders are adventure riders) I would be interested on the collective 'take' on this:

Given that most 'adventure tourers' never go off road, could this qualify as an adventure tourer "lite"?

Discuss.

PS. My head is not being turned. I couldn't afford it even if I wanted it.  :icon_lol:

As it happens,I'm accompanying a fiend tomorrow who has booked a test ride . I'd still pick the Tiger Sport over it.
Apparently there are issues with low speed  fuelling, and camchain tensioner?
Its competitively priced though,at about £8300

But having had a good look at it while I think the fuelling etc is sorted and it's certainly value for money but blimey get up close it's the kind of finish and quality that you'd expect on the kind of thing found at the bottom of a box of corn flakes!! 20/30 years ago I'd have thought it was great but certainly not for me.

At the NEC show this year I didn't even go on the Triumph stand they've nothing I'm remotely interested in the BM XR looks OK to me but blimey it's a strange thing to sit on so the old Tiger will have to keep going and if it does decide to eat itself almost certainly it'll be Deep Vain Thrombosis Multi and I'll have to chop and change it to suit.

Must be getting old; forgot all about that thread!

But if the build quality of the bike is not great it would explain the relatively low price.
