I had this weird problem today. Even with key removed,  starter motor kept running. I turned off the bike three or four times with no results. Then I drove back home (10 miles ride) and the problem seems disappeared. Any suggestions on what was wrong, and what to check and how in order to avoid it happening again? Thanks

Sounds to me like either the solenoid was stuck on or you had a short on the mains lead to the starter, happened on my Dolomite many years ago

Thanks Pete.  Wiring is in good conditions so I'm quite sure it was the solenoid, temporarily stuck. I have a spare one from my previous 955, will give it a try. :icon_wink:
