Since spring is now here, its time to bring the Steamer out of its slumber.

Now since the bike was put away for about 3 months, i need to prepare it for the 2018 summer season.

Before i get it on the my mechanic suggested i lubricate the exhaust. he recommended 200cc of oil in each pipe.  My question to you all.. is should i use Synthetic? Semo synthetic or???? also what viscocity do you recommend?

i plan on drilling a hole in each exhaust pipe and adding a bolt and washer to make the draining easier..

any recommendations greatly appreciated!

That's something to consider before its put into hibernation, to help protect the pipes from the effects of condensation.   As I imagine any oil left after draining would be burned off after running it at full temp for a while.

... But someone's gonna correct me I'm sure. 🙄

You sure that's not "Aprilofool" oil??

Make sure you put 'fresh' air in the tyres!

But dont use Thin Air, as that has a tendency to vanish
