Shell advance fully synthetic is in my opinion the oil of choice for the Tiger.

Readily available almost anywhere and meets or exeeds all standards including jaso-ma.

Debrucy,

I saw you've sent me a PM about this oil. I can't say what oil its running on, since it gets its interval changes at a dealer. I sometimes have to add a little bit of oil. I use Kroon motorcycle oil for that, because it's an easy can to take with you on a long trip (it has a long, narrow, flexible nose (what's the english word for it, I really don't know)).

Normal in the Netherlands is 10W40.

I have been told that Motul 5100 is one of the best..

and that's what I use... untill now never tested anotherone yet.
