As part of my major winter service, I just checked valve clearances and several were .01 to .02 MM out of spec (loose)
Only 1 intake out (.016 MM); 4 exhaust out (.021 MM - .022 MM)
Bike was running great, and I'm very rarely above 5,000 RPM. There are 45,800 miles.
Would you mess with it?
The ride might be fun, but in the great scheme of things, it's the destination that counts.

Probably not, loose valve is a happy valve in my book. I only worry about tight ones

Me neither and my bike has spent the majority of it life over 5k  :icon_biggrin: and has the same mileage.

I wouldn't worry about it either  :thumbsup
Safe Riding.
