Went to  Mototune in Chesham for the Tigers MOT. On arrival there is an immaculate Adventurer on the ramp. Low miles, low use, like new. Such a good looking bike.
MOT?, I ask..nope, in for poor running. Carb problems. Bike before was a Bandit 600 with Carb problems. The owner is likely to stop taking Carb bikes for these issues, as they just re-appear due to Ethanol fuel. Even if used regularly, he says he is seeing a noticeable increase in carb problems, and they almost all seem to come back for further issues.
Looks like it will be the fuel that finally does for a lot of Carbies..

btw, it passed, of course...

I used to have long hair, took acid and went to hip joints. Now I long for hair, take antacid and need a new hip joint
