Dropping the front

Im concidering dropping the forks but by how much do you guys go???





Mine is an 06 model I reckon to start with around 5mm
its grrreaaattttttttt

I dropeed mine an inch by going to a 17" rim. What a huge difference in handling. Much lighter.

I dropped my '99 885 efi by 17mm about four years ago and haven't gone back ever!  It made the steering just so neutral and natural - simply seems the way it should have been.



Great on track days too!



Made no difference when I changed from Tourances to BT020 road tyres.



By the way mine has Hagon front springs and Ohlins rear shock.



Most of my riding is two-up and that wasn't affect by the change either.



You may need to raise your headlight beam to compensate and that's a pain of a job!
