Anyone know the link for the company that makes the fuel fittings to replace the crap plastic ones on the gas tank

RedMenace

found this info on the Yahoo list, don't know if they are what you a re looking for or not, but at least there are some alternatives:

Lockhart Phillips makes a piece called a Fuel Coupler 5/16" 2 valve Part

#245-1495. It is the

male and female part, the female part is obviously useless due to where the

female part is in the Fuel pump. Here is the good news the male part fits

and works perfectly!! It is straight compared to the 90 degree bend on the

stock fitting, but it works great there is enough slack and space under the

tank to attach the hose and click the connector in. And the final tally 20

bucks!!! This is a little more than some other alternatives but way easier

to

get a hold of. I now have this part on my bike and it works great and does

not leak at all.

Matthias

Hans-Georg Lerdo:

| I heard on another list that a certain coupling for a Ducati fits

| as well.
