Tachco problems.

When I roll off the throttle and come to a stop the needle on the tach takes a nosedive. When I pull away again it resumes normal operation. Anyone have any ideas?

First symptom of a weak battery?

My tach was acting up, not the same symptoms as yours, but it ended up being a loose ground on the battery.
