These riding pants are versatile and comfortable, just too short for me, so I bought the same size in a long length.  Great 3-season pants, just not summer season for most of the North American continent: only worn 3 times and just washed and ready to ship. They can vent through the side zips, but run a little warm at anything above 84 degrees F.  With the liner, I have been comfortable in these pants down to the mid 30's.
