I bet,  but seriously,  I read online where a guy stored his sporster for a year in a storage room..  but he detailed the procedure, stabil in the gas ( although for 3 years I'm thinkign drain, and fog the cyclinders etc...

   where you are and where you plan on storing it is important...

  climate controlled or at least stable is good... you also don't want rats or bugs infesting it , chewing your wiring...

   its a Huge PITA but if you enjoy the bike...   Id have to consider a climate controlled storage room especially if you could get one just big enough for the bike...  maybe strap it on a stand or something?
