I love my 885i but there's one issue.

Lifting the rear wheel for servicing.

I have fitted a centre stand. This is not that stable, causes me worry.

Paddock stands on the swing arm are unstable and doesn't lift high enough for the wheel to clear the ground, no place to add bobbins either.

Abba stand, does not work on swing arm pivot.

So how do you do it? It's more awkward than with my other bikes!

I find the same on my 955i with the paddock stand  but the centre stand works fine.
No matter how smart you are you can never convince someone stupid that they are stupid.

I use a scissor jack lift under the center of the bike. I put that where the centre stand is, but it is a bit wider and more stable than the centre stand. I like that solution for my bike. I can lift it higher than the rear wheel sits, so the weight tilts to the front wheel and the back is free to work on. You can see the blue rectangle below the Tiger in this picture. ;) I don't really have a shot from the side.
