Help engine light will not go out!

Battery died.......charged the battery. Bike starts fine however the engine mgmt. light will not go out.

Closest dealer is 200 miles away......ANY IDEAS?????
Trying to reason with hurricane season.........

after a few rides the engine light will reset itself , this is normal . It will also happen when you take the batt out and replace with a new one .
I am not sure on the exact # , but after a few normal operating cycles it will reset .

IIRC, it is 3 cycles
