leaking coolant

2006 with just 2500 miles leaking coolant from lower cover of what appears to be the water pump housing on the lower left hand side of the motor. It is not the hose but rather the seal from the cover to the block. Anyone had this issue?

The thing on the lower left with the hoses attached is the water pump.
there is a bleed hole between the pump and block to allow any leakage from the seal to escape.
it sounds as if the seal is leaking,
the seal is a mechanical type and not known as a weakness.

So the leak is coming from the water pump and the dealer just sent in for authorization to replace it. I had to wait two weeks for the rotors to come so I hope this does not take as long.
