HOLY CRAP that rear Rim is heavy!!

I don't think my rim on the Rocket III is as heavy as the rear wheel  on this Tiger ....

   the rim itself looks lightweight but what is the hub and drive stuff made out of Lead?

I might throw it on the scale before I mount up the new tire to see what it actually weighs...

   I definitely think this bike would benefit a lot from a lighter wheel set,  or does it need to be that heavy to handle the potential abuse if you off road a bike this heavy?

    Keep in mind its been years since I had a pure dirt bike and Ive been riding sport bikes and such...  the rear wheel of my Sprint was light...course when it came off all the discs and such stayed on the bike...
