Maybe it's not showing up well in the picture, but the orange seal is much thicker than the older green one.  Maybe it's the age of the material, but the orange one fight much tighter and seems to seal all the way around.

No issues with near 1k miles. Road through some heavy rain for an hour at highway speed. Fuel usage is the same. Intake noise is louder. The motor seems to spin up faster.

The seat dyno indicates a significant increase in performance. As Chris said pulls a 19t cs like an 18t.
