I just bought a 1994 R100GSPD. Details of my trip home from NJ to Boise, ID on the bike (with pics) are here: http://elegantcode.com (http://elegantcode.com)

Bottom line, I made a mistake. I want a Tiger. 955i only need apply.

Motorcycles are just like women, it's all personal preference and there is no real logic involved. Heck, I thought I would love this bike and I am sure that someone else would. There is nothing in the world wrong with it, it is just a preference thing. I had my choices down to this bike or a tiger, I jumped one direction and it turns out I should have jumped the other way.

If I were to sell it outright, the price would be $5500. If Someone wanted to swap a tiger, that's the amount I would expect to have in value going into the deal and pay up to the rest.

Any ideas folks?

I know what you mean
I put 25K on a 2-valve GS/P and several thousand on my current 98 steamer.

Both cool,
both fun
but very, very different machines.

Glad to see you successfully moved her to a new, happy home
The less you know about motorcycles, the more you\'ll want a Harley-Davidson
