Salut! Bienvenue à l'asile.  My French is poor but I am currently trying to improve.  What part of France are you from and are you traveling on the South West part of France?  I have relatives in Arcachon.  I expect to be visiting next March.  I also expect my French to be better....

You'll fit in fine.  Most users on the board are American, which means we don't speak "english" all that well either.  Sounds like a nice ride--be sure to take some photos and post them here when you get a chance.

2004 should be Black, Orange, or Silver.

Hi and welcome.
I've travelled France extensively over the last 30 years and if you want scenery you don't have to go very far. France is a beautiful country with lots and lots of enjoyable roads to ride. The best and quietest are the yellow roads on your Michelin maps and the Tiger is one of the best bikes to do it on.
The very best areas, in my opinion, would be the whole Alpine region (can be busy and crowded), the Pyrenees, and then the area between :- Bordeaux, Clermont Ferand, St. Etienne, Orange, Millau, Toulouse and back to Bordeaux.
Enjoy your trip.
