Chain size

Hi guys,

Just trying to find out what is the standard size chain 530 or 525???

Cos i have just picked up my chain and it's a 525, but i thought 530 was standard.....

So now i have it, i am thinking about changing the lot over to 525, has anyone done this before. As it's has no more power then my mates sv650 which runs a 525

If so where did you get front/rear sprockets to fit a 525???

Standard chain is a 530 O ring or X ring with 114 links

The standard sprockets are 18 tooth front and 48 T rear

Good luck finding sprockets  other than the stock 530 size .

probably would need to be custom made  , read as BIG $$$$$
