Nearly an inch here in North TX (upper Denton County).

I'm really sorry bout making this happen.  Had my vocal chops a whirring Wed. night and belted out a good rendition of Bing's "White Christmas".  By time it was 2:00 next day it was snowing here and stayed snowing well into the night.   Should have realized  my 2 year record of bad luck would mock me once again.

Hopefully all my TX friends figured out safely how to drive in it.

Course.... every cloud has a silver lining.  Maybe I'll be heralded as the one who stopped Global Warming? 8)

Nahhhhhh... wont happen.. some celebrity will get all the credit after donating ton of money to Obama

As you can see the thaw has come rapidly and i got out for a couple of hours on boxing day, the photo was taken at Terrys burger van in the Brecon Beacons on my way back from Llandovery.

Right now I'll take the snow over the cold.  We had snow all day today, about a foot deep of accumulation by end of day, but at least it was warm.

We're due for -20*F tonight and we're not even into the cold months yet!
