what is this plug?

Hi folks,
Apologies if this has been covered before. Found a 12 socket plug in the tail section. Not plugged into anything.  Any ideas? Had the bike from New and this came with it...even though I've only just found it....

I think its for the Triumph alarm.

Doesn't do anything (unless you have an alarm, of course), but does supply a handy 'live' feed if you need power at that end of the  bike.
