I had to replace the speedo cable a few weeks ago at 60,000 miles.  I am curious what the typical life of a speedo cable is.  Anyone else replaced one and at what mileage?

Mustang

have replaced ones at only 10 k on a customer bike ,
had one go on wifes steamer at 30k tigger 2 is still running original at 65k(now I'm jinxed for sure  :ImaPoser  )

It's more like a crap shoot
and the funky bend they take from the drive to wrap around the fork tube doesn't help matters either .

Popped at 25k ish.  Easy fix.  Check you speedo drive is lubed...
Is it really an adventure bike if its wheels never see dirt?

Mine popped shortly after I got it but with no reliable history I couldn't say, although it wasn't dry or worn that I could see when I took it apart.

There is a Honda equivelant, Africa Twin equivelant
I used to have long hair, took acid and went to hip joints. Now I long for hair, take antacid and need a new hip joint
